The purpose of our ministry is to develop programs for youth and families and promote participation of youth and families in the activities of the congregation.
Our ministry sponsors and co-sponsers monthly events like rally Sunday and un-rally Sunday, the fall hayride, participation in the synod youth gatherings and ELCA Youth Gatherings, the ski trip, ice skating parties, youth fun nights, senior high youth group, mission trips, youth ministry fundraisers, the chili cook-off, and much more. We would love for you to join us!
Youth & Family Ministry is looking forward to sponsoring an active calendar of opportunities for all ages. Here is an overview of what we have planned through December. You are welcome to join us anytime and we are always glad for volunteers to help with programs.
Summer Youth & Family Trip 2008
This summer we are planning on doing a mission trip to the Twin Cities, August 3-9. Even if you have been to the cities before, this will be a very different experience for you! This trip will be for grades 6-12 plus adult chaperones. Spaces are limited, so the sooner you sign up, the better.

2009 New Orleans Youth Gathering
It is already time to start working toward the 2009 the ELCA Youth Gathering will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana! We are looking forward to a faith adventure like no other. If you have not been to a youth gathering before they are a blast of worship, music, dancing, inspirational speakers and fun with about 40,000 of your closest friends--all believers in Jesus Christ. This gathering's theme is Jesus-Justic-Jazz and it promises to be an experience you will never forget. This event is for those in 9-12 grade during the 2008-2009 school year.
