Schedule - During the School Year |
Beginning on Sunday September 7, 2008, United Lutheran will start a new schedule for Sunday mornings. At the recommendation of the Invitation Ministry, United's church council unanimously endorsed moving to one worship service on Sunday mornings. This will promote a fuller sanctuary for worship, more musical support from choirs and singers, and a longer educational time before worship. The new schedule will be as follows:
|
| 9:00 am |
Educational hour for children and adults
|
|
| 10:15 am |
Worship in the Sanctuary
This service is generally traditional in format, including music selected from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship Book. Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. A radio broadcast of this service can be heard at 10:30 am on radio station KCNN 1590 AM |

Worship
This contemporary-styled
worship service is held in the Fellowship Hall immediately
following our evening meal. Music is led by our Worship Team,
and this informal worship often includes skits and dramas
to bring the message for the day. |
