Welcome to our website and thank you for visiting!  If you have not yet joined us for worship or any of our many activities, we hope you do soon.  We would love to welcome you, and it would be a blessing to us to have you join us in our worship of Jesus Christ, our study of the Bible, our work and our play. 

It has been a blessing to me to be one of the pastors here at United.  I am blessed by sharing in the Word of God and the Holy Sacraments that we experience together.  I am blessed by the people who come here to share in those blessings and share God’s grace with one another.  The faith family of United Lutheran Church has a wonderful history and a very bright future in the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is a ministry of loving God and loving God’s people.  It really is an exciting experience—come and see!

Pastor’s Page from the August 2008 Edition of The Uniter

In the month of August we will continue to pray our worship theme for the summer, “Send down your Spirit.”  We pray that God’s Holy Spirit be with us in worship and in mission.  During the first week of August we will send a group of our youth and adults, 20 in all, to the Twin Cities on a mission trip where they will work in community centers and soup kitchens serving others.  We look forward to hearing their stories when they return, hearing how the Holy Spirit guided and shaped them through the mission of serving God’s people.

During the month of August, we will pray for the presence and blessings of the Holy Spirit in weddings and baptisms that will happen.  Also in August, our ministry groups will be working hard to plan and prepare for the school year ahead.  We pray to God “Send down your Spirit” as we will be gearing up for worship, education programs, music, evangelism, Bible study and so much more, all opportunities for the Holy Spirit to call us together to grow in faith.

It has already been a very memorable summer in faith at United Lutheran Church as we have prayed together “Send down your Spirit” and God has!  We have had a great summer of worship and Bible study.  We have had a great vacation Bible school and helped build a home with Thrivent and Habitat for Humanity.  No doubt, the Spirit has more in store for us!  Join us for worship or any of our many activities--we would love to have you be a part of our ministry together here at United.
