Music at United: There are many opportunities to participate in the music at United. Starting with Sunday school music through the Cathedral Choir and Jubilee Handbells, there is something for any age. Our worship services are accompanied by either our Baldwin 9ft concert grand or our Casavant Freres tracker action organ. These fine instruments combined with a variety of instruments provide a wonderful foundation for congregational participation in worship. Sunday School Music
|
Music and singing is incorporated into the program often guided by their class teachers. Usually grouped by ages: Preschool thru 2nd Grade and 3rd thru 5th Grade.

Sing and Ring
|
A youth choir for kids in grades 2-5 under the direction of Ruth Ann Tuseth. We will have fun exploring vocal music, learning to play handchimes and percussion instruments (including Orff instruments). The reheasal time will be Wednesdays at 5pm in the Choir Room. Click HERE for schedule. |

Worship Team

This is a group that gathers together to assist with leading music during worship when the Cathedral Choir takes an occaional Sunday off. Click HERE for schedule.

Cathedral Choir
|
This is a traditional SATB choir under the direction of Paul Barta. This group is open to those in Grade 9 thru adult. We rehearse weekly at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evenings in our Choir Room. Click HERE for the Cathedral Choir Schedule.

Wednesday Worship Team: WWT
|
This group meets together to assist in leading the music for the Wednesday evening Worship. This is open to anyone confirmation age and up. We also would welcome guitar players to join us. Our rehearsal time will be determined by those participating.

| Jubilee Bells
|
This is our primary group of handbell ringers. This is a fairly stable group but on occasion we are in need of a substitute or new person. Please contact Lynn if interested. If we have enough interest we may create a new group. Click HERE for schedule. |

The Joyful Ringers
|
This is a NEW group for youth of confirmation age who are interested in playing in a handbell choir. We will meet on Wednesdays at 8pm immediately after Confirmation for 30-40 minutes. Please contact Lynn if you are interested in joining so she can have enough materials ready. First rehearsal will be September 22. |
Soloists and Instruments: On occasion we look to enhance music during worship with the addition of instruments. If you play an instrument and would be interested in accompaning hymns and/or choir selections please contact Lynn Liepold.
