SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Sunday School Schedule: Sundays from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
Faith Friends is a supplemental program to our Sunday School classes for 3 year olds through 5th grade that meets every Wednesday night from September through May. During Faith Friends we learn lessons from the Bible, play games, have movie and popcorn nights. You are encouraged to bring a friend. Faith Friends Schedule: Wednesdays from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Each year we offer Vacation Bible School for children entering Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Confirmation Classes for
Grades 7 – 9 meet Wednesdays from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. from
September through May. Pastors Karla and Peter Coen-Tuff together with Pastor Tony Prinsen, lead the classes using curriculum
developed by Augsburg Fortress. Twice during the year we gather with
churches from the area for special City Wide Confirmation. Students
who qualify during at the beginning of their 10th grade year will
be confirmed during a special ceremony held in October of each year. Click here to see the 2007-2008 Schedule.
If you are a young adult (18-23 year olds), there’s a new group just for you! The ELCA congregations in Grand Forks, including United Lutheran Church and Christus Rex campus ministry, are partnering together to create opportunities for service, fellowship and learning for young adults. BIBLE STUDY Join Pastor Tony Prinsen on Sunday's in Room 106 following the 8:30am worship for a Bible Study engaging the theme "Fear Not!" This will be a four-part Bible Study through the month of July. Sunday, July 6 ~ Fear Not: I am with You (Isaiah 41:9-10) Sunday, July 13 ~ Fear Not: I Call You (Matthew 14:22-23) Sunday, July 20 ~ Fear Not: I Am the Way (John 14:1-11) Sunday, July 27 ~ Fear Not: I Am with You Always (Matthew 28:16-20)
YOUNG WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY The Y.W.B.S meets monthly in the church Library at 7pm. Check the weekly bulletin or contact the church office for dates.
MEN'S BIBLE STUDY Men's Bible Study meets on the last Thursday of each month at 7pm in Room 106.

United’s
Christian Education Program is planned by the Spiritual Formation
Ministry. The mission of Spiritual Formation is to equip the members
of United Lutheran Church to know, tell and be the story of Jesus
Christ, and provide resources to challenge ourselves, families,
friends, and neighbors in spiritual growth. The Spiritual Formation
Ministry is responsible for education for all ages and supports
the work of the pastors, and church school coordinator.

Sunday School is offered from September through May for 3 year
olds through Middle School. Children learn valuable lessons from
the Bible, have music time and have FUN! Sunday School also celebrates
special occasions throughout the year – Rally Sunday, Christmas,
and Memory Olympics. Sunday School begins each year with Rally
Sunday usually held the second Sunday in September.
