CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
SENIOR HIGH SUNDAY MORNINGS Senior High Youth Group meets on Sundays after worship in the youth room. This will be a time for high school youth to hang out, talk about faith issues, hot topics, tough questions, and dig into the Bible together. We will also spend time talking about upcoming senior high events, so join us and bring a friend for senior high Sunday mornings. Education Hour : Sundays from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
Faith Friends is a supplemental program to our Sunday School classes for 3 year olds through 5th grade that meets every Wednesday night from September through May. During Faith Friends we learn lessons from the Bible, play games, have movie and popcorn nights. You are encouraged to bring a friend. Faith Friends Schedule during the school year: Wednesdays from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Each year we offer Vacation Bible School for children entering Kindergarten through 6th grade. If you are interested in helping out with VBS please contact the church office. Everyone is welcome and please bring a friend!
Confirmation Classes for
Grades 7 – 9 meet Wednesdays from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. from
September through May. Pastors Karla and Peter Coen-Tuff together with Pastor Tony Prinsen, lead the classes using curriculum developed by Augsburg Fortress. Twice during the year we gather with
churches from the area for special City Wide Confirmation. Students
who qualify at the beginning of their 10th grade year will
be confirmed during a special ceremony held in October of each year. Click here to see the Confirmation Schedule.
BIBLE STUDY Adult Bible Studies meet at 9am on Sundays. Check UNITED UPDATES and the Uniter and Sunday bulletins for upcoming studies.
YOUNG WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY The Y.W.B.S meets monthly in the church Library at 7pm. Check the weekly bulletin or contact the church office for dates.
MEN'S BIBLE STUDY Men's Bible Study meets on the last Thursday of each month at 7pm in Room 106. Watch the weekly bulletin for dates.

United’s
Christian Education Program is planned by the Spiritual Formation
Ministry. The mission of Spiritual Formation is to equip the members
of United Lutheran Church to know, tell and be the story of Jesus
Christ, and provide resources to challenge ourselves, families,
friends, and neighbors in spiritual growth. The Spiritual Formation
Ministry is responsible for education for all ages and supports
the work of the pastors, and church school coordinator.

Sunday School is offered from September through May for 3 year
olds through Middle School. Children learn valuable lessons from
the Bible, have music time and have FUN! Sunday School also celebrates
special occasions throughout the year – Rally Sunday, Christmas,
and Memory Olympics. Sunday School begins each year with Rally
Sunday usually held the second Sunday in September.
